There are some tracks I am assembling in Xpress Pro that were recorded in mono and I would like to “open-them-up” when they show up.

Most of the documentary are interviews from one person, with some music playing parts. My guess is a slight widening of the dead center audio image might make things sounds better.

Is that possible to be accomplished with the tools inside Avid Xpress?

I have already tried moving one track one and then two frames, with mixed results. Also tried to use Audiosuite for a delay effect, but it didn’t work. Don’t know how to set it really.

    Any suggestions?

Unless they are in surroundings that deserve reverb I would just add some stereo wildtracks/atmoses and maybe pan the tracks slighty depending on where the subject is in frame. Dial tends to be left near the middle anyway!
