  mono monitoring final cut pro

  Hello

  I am editing on FC a film where the audio tracks have been recorded sometimes mono on 1 channel and sometimes stereo. It’s very annoying to hear the tracks bouncing around in the speakers, so I would like to just MONITOR the film on 2 speakers MONO. In Avid this is very easy to do, but I can’t configure FC to do it!
  I have tried to put the sequence settings in DUAL MONO but it doesnt seem to do anything.
  I don’t want to change the pan of the clips nor duplicate the clips every time, because the sound designer will need the tracks as they are, I just want to MONITOR the sequence playback this way.
  Please help!
