Anything wrong with putting a mix down mono file into FCP instead of two split stereo files? I’ve gotten some edited dialogue and am confused why there are two of the same tracks to put into FCP? I’d like to make some changes to it but don’t want to spend time automating booth tracks

    Thanks

You can remove one of the tracks if you wish and pan the remaining one center. Or if you select both tracks and opt-L, then whatever you do to the first track will be mirrored on the other. Make sure to pan the tracks center to ensure a mono signal.
