Monitoring problems since FCP 6 & Kona2 v4 upgade
Posted by David At krafthaus films on September 13, 2007 at 3:33 amI’ve upgraded to FCP Studio 2 and the Kona2 software to version 4. Now we can’t seem to view HD through our HD monitor or component out??? This all worked ok before the two upgrades. Also still got that annoying popping sound through our sound monitoring.

September 14, 2007 at 10:32 pmI do NOT mean AJA TV. I mean AJA Kona Control Panel. DO NOT USE FCP or VTR XChange or anything else to test your system. ONLY USE AJA Kona Control Panel in the Kona Utiliites folder. You should be able to simply send a color bar TEST SIGNAL into your TV monitor to tell if your system is working.
PLEASE forget FCP for now.Bob Zelin

September 17, 2007 at 10:23 amwhat is your primary/secondary format?
Do you get the default color bar ?
Have you connected phantom power to you AJA analog audio?? if yes, it’s toast.
What format you have in final cut timeline?
Have you checked video playback / All frames??
Does SDI work?
Does S-video work?
