    Monitor Window: Source vs. Sequence window question

    I am learning Premier CS3, I have never done any video editing either analog or digital.

    I have a fundamental question regarding the monitor window and would very much appreciate an answer that discusses the overview of the monitor window as to how the source window differs from the sequence window, and how their intended to be used independently of one another and collectively.

    The “source view” has several purposes, but is intended for working with a specific clip, while the “program view” shows you what your timeline contains.

    You will find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
