  Monitor Colors Broken…except when using a new user account. What Gives?

  Hi there,

  I was working in After Effects and it crashed while trying to Auto-Save. I thought I’d let it run for some minutes (sometimes it’s coming back up again) but after 3 or 4 minutes the monitor changd its colors from “Millions Of Colors” to “256 Colors” (my guess) so I decided to do a cold restart.

  I lost my AFX work-file and my monitor looks like #$%& now. As soon as I log into my account the color changes from “Millions” to something like “256” (without Font-smoothing etc…). I erased all the caches, preferences, etc… but the monitor-color doesnt change back to normal. I created another user-account on the same computer and everything seems to be fine, but I would like keeping my old, “real” Admin account…

  Any ideas? Did anyone experience any similar problem before?
