Money Making Graphics and Effects DVD
I was curious from anybody who has purchased the DVD and used it, what they thought about the possibility of using the DVD without Final Cut Pro. I use Avid and After Effects at work, and I was just wondering if this would be a good purchase just as far as getting ideas to pull off in any NLE and things of that nature. Or is it really not meant for that and I would basically be missing out on the majority purpose of the DVD if I don’t use it in conjunction with FCP?

Sure.
Never used Avid (Hey, what’s that?) but Stephen’s ideas surely can be transferred to another app with some imagination on the part of the viewer.
After Effects? You’re better off getting AE-specific tools. All of the motion graphics and motion-tab controls and functions in FCP are s-o-o-o totally lame compared to AE.bogiesan
