Moiria??? How do you spell it / Get rid of it???
I have no Idea how to spell it but it happens when there are contrasting colors within the ntsc lines causing an LSD trip type effect.
It’s happening in a couple of pictures I am putting motion to using Avid Pan & Scan.
Any ideas on how I could get rid of it?

It’s ‘Moiré’ and there are various ways of getting rid of it depending on the shot.
You say you are getting it using ‘motion in Avid Pan & Scan’. Try upgrading it to ‘HQ’ (High Quality).
If however you meant Avid Pan&Zoom, you can simply change the Render Filter drop-down menu to any of the lower options (the lower you go, the better the render normally). -
After Effects.
Avid’s DVE (including pan & scan) is still too primative for this. It’s been an aliased morei monster since 1995, unfortunatly.
