mograph cloner and mesh deformer
Hi there !
I was wondering if there is a way to clone a mesh with a mesh deformer ?
here is my plan :
I got a quite complex mesh, I want to clone it and clones to behave as a soft bodies.Obviously putting the soft body tag directly on the mesh isn’t a good idea at all (I want to make something like 30 clones) so I used a mesh deformer and a cube (4x4x4 division) with a soft body tag as a box, and it works like a charm until I try to put this setup in my cloner.
first I put everything (soft body cube/box, the mesh + mesh deformer) into a null, and then put this null in my cloner object.
Everything is cloned right, but then I hit play and the result is that the cloned meshes aren’t linked anymore to their respective deformer boxes
-> the cloned softbody cubes/boxes fall rightly on the floor, but the meshes stay in the air, at their starting point, as if the mesh deformer wasn’t working anymore.is there a way to make this setup work (cloning a mesh deformed object) ?
