  • modifying frame rate metadata

I have a sequence comprised of 29.97 FPS material consolidated down to clips with 60f handles. I have color graded those clips in Davinci Resolve, and rendered out identical MXF clips (including metadata).

However the metadata from the new clips shows them as 30FPS. If I am able to change that to 29.97, then I can relink the newly graded footage to the original timeline.

I tried creating an offline’d ALE and then modifying the framerate, but it wouldn’t relink afterwards.

Does anyone know a way to simply modify the interpreted framerate of these clips without re-rendering them? I can do this instantly with FCP’s Cinema tools’ conform option. I was hoping there’d be an equivalent?

    Thanks!
