    Hey Guys-
…. been looking high and low for any and all tutorials on creating an Engine/Motor. I’ve started creating a motor utilizing simple box modeling, but at this stage would appreciate any/all feedback on known resources/samples for this type of project.

Thanks in advance to all the helpful folks on this Forum.

I don’t know of any tutorials specific to “engine modeling”. You could try some tuts on polygonal modeling and boolean technique. That gets you through many engineering oriented objects such as pistons, cranks, cylinder heads, etc.

Use 3D snapping settings to define a scale and tolerance.

Will you animate? If so, find some MOCCA tutorials, or, if you have Dynamics, some tutes on that as well.

Ditto with Pyrocluster for the sparks and smoke. But a basic engine should be no problem with the base package.
