Mocha Ae troubles

April 1, 2016 at 9:33 pmMaking my way through some decently complicated masks/rotos.
I’ve hit a snag where Ae simply stops working after trying to view the masks in Ae after pasting them on to a layer (not using Ae masks, but rather pasting directly on to a layer to get the soft edges). CPU is at 100%, and the preview monitor is simply frozen.
I can scrub, open new panels, move things around, but the preview is locking up Ae something awful.
I tried deleting memory/image cache.
I can’t quit Ae, unless I force quit. If I force quit and open back up, I can work for a few frames until something locks up the display.
I tried reducing the project to just the precomp, nothing helps.
I am at a loss of what else to do. Any ideas?

April 1, 2016 at 9:56 pmAfter some more troubleshooting, it appears that there’s one frame that throws Ae for a tailspin.
I tried redoing the Mocha data, but the same frame causes Ae to lock up.
Once I delete the Mocha data, I can play everything back with no issues.
This is a really complicated roto, and I’d hate to have to redo the whole shot. Is there a way to shake loose any weird data in Mocha?
Thanks.

April 2, 2016 at 2:00 amIt’s literally one frame.
I guess I have to try and redo this shot from scratch. Weird.
