Mocha AE-Trouble applying mask when hand moves over screen
Newbie issue here.
I’m replacing a screen with a graphic. A hand moves across the screen and am trying to mask properly so the hand is visible and comes over my new graphic.
I tracked the screen and the hand as separate layers in Mocha with hand on top layer as suggested.However I don’t understand how to apply the layer information in After Effects properly. The track is perfect but all I can do is replace the screen. It still covers the hand when it enters frame.
Do I need to make a separate layer for the hand, export or import differently?

You need to add a mask above the insert:
1. Duplicate your layer
2. Choose “Visible masks” and choose only the hand layer
3. Either use “Create AE masks” or use “Apply matte” to mask out the hand above.Martin Brennand | Product Manager | mocha – Imagineer Systems

Thank you very much. I knew I had to have two layers but didn’t know how to mask.
