    Hi.

I was wondering if anyone knows much about distributing to mobile phones. We use sorenson squeeze to compress to the .3gp MPEG-4 codec. Ultimately I would like to either have the ability to send a video on my phone to another phone that runs for about 2-3 mins. The restriction here is the 300Kb size for sending an MMS. This means that I can only have about a 30 second video clip instead of 2-3 mins. I can send a link where people can go to a website using their phone, however this restricts the amount of people able to download it if they don’t have the ability to access the internet on their phone, plus I haven’t figured out how to do this properly.

Does anyone have any experience with distributing their videos to mobile phones?

    Regards,

    Phil

different phones may use different types of video files. that is why right now all video content I have seen on a phone comes from through the cell phone provider.
