mobile graphics with IO XT
Hey all,
I will be creating motion graphics with the occasional online assemble on a Macbook Pro with Thunderbolt. Just verifying that all I need is my Thunderbolt Macbook Pro, an AJA IO XT and an HDTV client monitor (wit necessary cabling of course)… and with that setup, I can playback and edit 24p and 60i material in a FCP 7 timeline, Premiere project and After Effects project fine through only the IO XT via HDMI to an HDTV client monitor. Assuming I will also need something like this that can monitor true 24p footage?

I will also occasionally need to rent a deck to ingest selects still coming in on tape for final assembly here and there, but I don’t see that being a problem at all with the IO XT’s SDI ins and outs. Am I missing anything with the setup mentioned? Thanks so much…
Brad
