I think it’s an issue about the frame rate.
I normally work in PAL, it’s been auto imported by FCP as NTSC at 29.97.
The visuals are going faster than the audio.
Sorry if it’s basic but what frame rate should I have this at?

    Video 3.47.76MPEG 4640 x 480 pixels
    Sound 3.48.05 AAC Mono

But when I take in to FCP it’s a big difference

I should say the Time-base as well.
Whatever the time base, thing that that stuff is not directly editable.
You should convert it to a moer FC friendly codec.
