    Hello,

I’m working on an animation that mixes to different types of pre-comps. One is a 12fps comp, the onther is 25fps.

The idea is to mix smooth animations with jagged, stop motion-ish ones.

is there a simple way to mix then in one 25fps comp? Should I be working in more compatible frames rates (like 12.5fps instead of 12)?

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

    oli

Just ensure that Preserve Frame Rate is switched on in the comps that are different from the final comp’s FPS setting. The Preserve Frame Rate switch is found in the Composition Setting’s Advanced Tab.

12.5 FPS should work better – try to work in even multiples. BUt perhaps someone with more Stop Motion experience can chime in.
