  Mixing Format : NTSC & PAL in FCP 7

  Hi,

  Need your help to get the workflow right.

  Some old DV rush, originally shot in PAL but captured in different postprod facilities.

  Finally what reached my FCP 7.0 are :

  RUSH 1 : .MOV : Frame size 640 x 480 , Vid rate = 29,97fps and compressor : DV/DVCPRO – NTSC. (90% OF THE RUSH)

  RUSH 2 : .MOV : Frame size 720 x 576 , Vid rate = 25 fps and compressor : DV – PAL.

  RUSH 3 : .MOV : Frame size 640 x 480 , Vid rate = 30 fps and compressor : H.264

  The quality of Rush 1 (90% of total rush) is really bad.

  What do you suggest should be the sequence settings and the workflow? (by the way, Digital Cinema Preview with the sequence settings of Rush 1).
