I have material from Sony EX3 and from RED on 2K.

Does it is possible to mix those two formats in the same sequence in Avid Media Composer 3.5 ??

And in the version 4.0 its possible ??

    Thanks !!

Only in v4. The EX is likely 23.98p-within-60i. The Red can be 23.98p, 24.00p or 25.00p.

    Thanks!!

And about the resolution, since I got two diferent resolutions 1080×1920 and 2K,
my final resolution will be 1080×1920, cause I cant go further in the EX-3 material..

    Its correct??

    Thanks!!

Avid will only do Rec709 HD video in 1920×1080. So you can’t do full 2K, and you cannot work in RedSpace. To get the Red footage in, you need to convert it to DNxHD. You can use MetaFuze for that, or RocketCine-X or RedCine-X or RedRushes, or Scratch or Baselight/BLT, and perhaps some more. MetaFuze is available from Avid at no charge (new version, 2.1): https://www.avid.com/metafuze.
