    Hi,

I’ve been editing a documentary shot in DVCPRO HD 720p60 in timelines of the same flavor. As far as I can tell, there was no particular reason it was shot at p60 (we didn’t need slo mo), (since it was shot with an HDX900, it may have been shot at 60 because it was easy to do so). At any rate, we want to shoot some additional footage with a HPX170 and it would be advantageous in terms of card capacity and download time to shoot at p30. I expect the doc to have a US broadcast release. Is there any reason not to shoot at p30? What would be the ramifications of working with mixed frame rates? Any insights would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
