mixing 24p and 29.97fps
editing on a 24p timeline with 24p footage … now the client bought some extra footage with 29.97fps … any of you guys have experience with mixing framerates?

Duplicate your 29.97 clip, then
open Cinema Tools – load the clip and conform to 23.98…. -
…which would simply slow the footage down a bit and not fix the interlacing in the footage, yes?
Yes, of course you would need to de-interlace the 29.97 footage if it is 60i.
Problems we will all encounter as 24p gains in popularity.
