  Mixing 23.97p and 29.97p for web and NTSC DVD

  When dropping the 23.97 footage in a 29.97 sequence, it’s very stuttery, so I figured I’d add pulldown to get it to 29.97. Only problem is the web version would be interlaced at the formerly 23.97 edit points.

  So now I’m thinking the better option would be to convert the 29.97p footage to 23.97p footage, output the entire sequence for the web at 23.97p, then for the DVD add pulldown in AE so it’s 29.97i.

  Question being: 1) is this the best way to do it and 2) what’s the cleanest way to convert 29.97p to smooth 23.97p footage?
