    Mixing 16×9 and 4×3 in Media 100HD

    I have Media 100 HD and I’m going to be working on a standard definition project in 16×9. I’m going to be using a fair amount of source footage that’s 4×3.

    I’m looking for the best options for conforming the 4×3 footage to 16×9. My plan right now is to capture the footage as 4×3 and then drop all the clips in a 16×9 timeline to batch conform all the clips at once.

    Are there other approaches that would save time?

    You could conform the clips from the bin prior to timeline but I find it quicker to conform in the timeline.
