mixed media in FCP multicam
Hey all,
i am bout to start edting a 3 cam gig, 2 cams were jvc 720 the other was 1080i sony,
I have made a multiclip using the 720, but i cant use the 1080 with this clip as its mixed media (FCP TELLS ME THIS)
whats the best thing to do? any tips on editing with mixed media?
show i just downgrade the 1080 footage?

All the footage must match EXACTLY in order to multiclip them. Codec, frame rate and frame size. So yeah, you’ll have to convert the 1080i to 720p…although not sure how good the end result will be.
