Mixed frame-rate 30p & 24p on timeline, best way to render to DVD & BDR?

No. I would use the “Blu-ray 1920×1080-24p, 25 Mbps video stream” since your project is 24p.

Try right-clicking on each of the 30p events, go to Properties… and select Disable Resample. That might help.

oops, that was a typo of BDR setting, I meant 24p. Thanks for the tip on resampling. Not only did that work, but the render is SO much faster on those clips. Thanks!!

You’re welcome. That’s because it was trying to blend 30 frames into 24. By disabling resample, you told it to just drop 6 frames out of every 30 and use the remaining 24 so it has a lot less work to do.
