I’ve read quite a few posts about this subject and just want to clarify….

I use a GoPro hero 3 Black and one of my ‘go to’ modes is 720 @ 60p … If I want to edit a video it will be going to the team youtube channel plus I don’t yet have a ‘ferrari’ editing computer and this framerate allows me to get decent slo-mo using the GP Studio built-in ‘flux’ (GP’s version of Twixtor) before importing to vegas as an avi. Then project settings will be 720 @ 30p

If I want to bring in a 5 second clip shot by someone else at 1080i 25fps (PAL) should I set the project settings for 24p to ensure the render process is not trying to come up with 6 imaginary frames for that clip and it looks it’s best…?

    cheers

    Nick

Try rendering your 1080i 25fps (PAL) clip at 30p and see what you think of the result.
