I have a timeline that has a combination of music, audio, normal clips, and multicam clips with synced audio. I’ve noticed this on a few occasions on some recent projects, but sometimes the Multicam Clips will decide to not display their Waveforms. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, because there are other Multicam clips that display the waveform just fine, and they are all from the exact same cameras and audio gear, just different takes.

Inside the Multicam clip, all of the audio tracks have their waveforms displaying fine, so it’s only within the main timeline where they don’t display. I’ve made sure that there aren’t any effects or anything else strange going on on the nested audio. I’ve tried making the audio offline and relinking in hopes it would recreate the files. I’ve tried fiddling within the Audio Gain and the Audio Channels dialogues to see if I could tease it back into existence, but nothing.

Anyone else have this happen? Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I had the same problem where I would see waveforms of other clips, but not the multi cam clips. I solved it by right clicking on the audio and selecting multicam>enable. The waveforms suddenly show up.
