October 28, 2020 at 6:16 pmI just wanted to say thank you for helping me out a serious jam! I’m working on an old project that uses hundreds of highlighter effects to reveal text line-by-line as the speaker reads them. They were all offline, I’m not the original editor, and I’m on a different computer so I had no idea why they weren’t working. I found this post, downloaded X-Library Check, recreated the missing folder, and the “lights came on”! It literally saved me hours of work, so I sincerely thank you. The pic is a fraction of what I was up against.

There is a new tool that allow to relink any FX (title, effect, transition or generator) when the file was moved in the template library.
This tool will also list all FX that are used in a project, and allow you to enable or disable them and even to create favorite to your top FX used.
Just search for FCPXManager or go to fcpxmanager.com
