Missing render file fix yet?
Hi guys
Been reading the threads about “missing render files” from a few months ago, and as I am still experiencing problems (14 hours of render has just disappeared from my latest multicam rock gig due for playout today!), I wondered if anyone had found a workable workaround – that works!

Thanks for the link which was helpful. I have also been having issues with sequences which have never been duplicated, and found today that by going back to the last autosaved project I could recover the render files. It’s very strange, cos while I can open the project from the autosave vault and FCP will see the render files, but when from the project which has lost them I try to relink the files FCP will not let me?

Yes, it’s a real PIA.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I have to imagine that an update should be arriving shortly.
