Missing options in Vegas
I have Vegas Platinum 7.0. It does not give me an option to set the velocity on a track, only composite level and fade to color. Also in the Pan/Crop menu below “position” there is not a box to check for ‘mask’ . Is there something im not doing to make these features available or is my version not capable?

Your version is not capable. You need to full version of Vegas for those features. The “movie studio” versions have a lot of power but still have some features disabled from the full version.
You could always upgrade to the full version to get these features plus others like unlimited tracks, scripting, etc…
