missing log and capture viewer in Final Cut 6.06
Posted by Joe Cunningham on February 28, 2012 at 2:31 amFor some reason, the viewer in my log and capture has disappeared, which means I cannot set in/out and disable audio capture from my Panasonic HDC-TM700 camera.

February 28, 2012 at 3:11 amLog and Capture is for TAPE based cameras. This camera shoots TAPELESS. For that, you use Log and Transfer:

February 28, 2012 at 3:16 amThanks for your rapid response. When I open log and capture, all I see are the thumbnails and info columns, but the viewer is missing in action. I don’t have a clue as to what I may have done to make it disappear, and have tried clicking on every possible button.
If it helps, I’m using a dual core intel Xeon MacPro with 4GB ram and OS 10.5.8

February 28, 2012 at 3:26 amOoops. sorry for the bogus info. I meant log and transfer. The problem just manifested last week. I rarely deal with tape anymore…thank God.
