  • Missing frames during recording — any post-fix?

    Hey.

While recording documentary footage on a Canon 7D i used a memory card that apparently wasn’t large enough. 8GB. It started giving me the ‘busy’ signal during recording and i recorded like that for a little bit before unloading my 16GB, clearing it, and recording on that one again.

So there’s some missing frames from the periods where the 8GB couldn’t process the frames during recording.

Is there any fix for these missing frames?

    Thanks.

You might be able to get acceptable results by using After Effects to interpolate new frames. Take a look at Timewarp and Frame Blending with pixel motion.
