  missing folders in BPAV file – converting the mp4

  I have a BPAV file I was given that seems to be missing all the other folders from the card. I tried opening the mp4 file in VLC and it plays, but I don’t know how to convert or rewrap the file. I’m in OSX 10.6.8 and I have FCP 7 and FCP X. DOes anyone have any suggestions?
