Hello everyone. I seem to be missing the Easy Setups for XDCAM EX sequences. I’m running FCP 6.0.5, OSX 10.5.5, QT 7.5.5, I’ve installed the latest versions of the Sony XDCAM Transfer software, and Sony XDCAM Clip Browser, but all I see are the XDCAM HD Easy Setups. According to the “HD and Broadcast Formats” document, there should be Easy Setups for XDCAM EX. Any Ideas about what I may have done wrong? How about ideas to get my setups?

    Thanks,

    Jay

Should be there. Set the easy setup for all formats and all rates. I have a dozen or so XDCam Ex easy setups.

Thanks, Jeremy. My Easy Setups were set set for all formats and rates, but still no XDCAM EX.

A user in another forum suggested looking in: applications > Final Cut Pro Additional Easy Setups > English. They were there, but I had to copy them to: Library > Application Support > Final Cut Pro System Support > custom Settings > in order for FCP to see them. That seemed to do the trick. They are now listed with my other Easy Setups.

    Thanks again for the advice.

I was having this problem under FCP 6.04 and XDCAM Transfer 2.71 and 2.80.

Thanks for pointing out the solution.
