Missing Codec’s for XDCAM EX on FCP 6
I am having trouble finding the correct pre-sets in FCP 6.0.4 I have the XDCAM HD pre-sets but I can’t find the XDCAM EX pre-sets anywhere. I am not sure if they should be in FCP already or if I need to download them from the sony website, which I have looked for the download all over the site but no luck. I have downloaded the import dmg as well as the viewer dmg but I have not seen a specific XDCAM EX download on Sony’s website. If someone could point me to the place where I can find these plugg-ins to put the missing XDCAM EX codecs so they appear in the easy set-ups menu that would be great. I start editing this project in less then a week so PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

We had the same problem, we just did an update on final cut and it popped them in for us… Are you using the XDCAM transfer tool?
