  • Mismatch between Premiere Pro and Media Encoder

I am attempting to edit in Premiere Pro and export using Adobe Media Encoder. When I am editing in PP at the beginning of the sequence there are 15 frames from the end of the clip replacing the first 15 frames of the clip. After those 15 frames the clip is played correctly.

When exporting to Media Encoder, the first 15 frames are correct (the actual first frames of the clip).

I cannot figure out why this is happening. Can anyone help?

Upon closer inspection, the problem has nothing to do with Media Encoder. This is a phenomenon only in Premiere Pro. It is replacing the first 14 frames of the clip with the final 14 frames. Any ideas?

Tell us more about the media you are working with, which version of the Adobe apps, etc.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.

Delete renders and disk cache. Close project and reopen. Any better?
