  mgJSON and timing of compositions

  Hey, I saw here on this link (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/after-effects/using/data-driven-animations.html) that it might be possible to define the number of frames to offset (frameNumber) a layer from the start of the data layer specified from a “mgJSON” file

   

  1. Would this work with any other composition? (I am trying to find a solution to retime multiple compositions programmatically from a JSON file)

  2. How should exactly the mgJSON file look like? I am trying to write it but it just not working?

  3. Can I find anywhere documentation on this?

  4. If this is not the proper way to do it, then I should make it with scripting?

  If I understand it correctly, it is possible to control the start frame of a media file on the timeline from a Json file (more exactly from an mgJSON file).

  Does anybody have any knowledge in this direction?

  I can’t really figure it out what and how to do it… I have an mgJSON file like this, but it does not activate the Align the Video With Data

  I actually want to control other composition’s timing. Is it Possible?
