.mfx files not being recognized in avid after QT import
I’ve been importing 422HQ QT clips into avid, they stay online for some period of time and then mysteriously are offline. I click “reveal file” and I come up with “Unable to find media files for the selected clips” even though i can see the .mxf files in Avid MediaFile folder.
Im on Avid 8.7.2
Another curious thing happening is I’ve been bringing this offline media back online using batch re-import. The media comes back online in my editing room but remains offline in other editing rooms in which the Avid Project is shared.
Why does this media keep going offline and how do i keep it online?
The whole batch re-import thing a few times a day is becoming a huge time suck.

Are you using supported shared storage?

Honestly not sure what that means – we use something called Editshare Connect.
I also upgrade my computer from yosemite to el capitan…not sure if this has anything to do with the issue
