  Metadata Wrapper in PP 2.0 future?

  When you create an AVI file from DV footage in PP, is there any metadata created as part of the AVI file? If not, a metadata wrapper(similar to MXF or AAF) for “essence” would make sense in PP 2.0.

  If they are going to follow Photoshop CS2’s lead with the new homegrown asset managment system, it makes sense to have metadata associated with the essence. Without some kind of metadata wrapper, it will be hard to keep track of files is a digital asset management system.

  Any thoughts?
