Metadata from Premiere to After Effects?
Hello
I have speech-analysed a clip in Premiere and want to bring it in to AE to time some animation to the clip. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t do the speech analysis thing; I’d just bring the clip into AE and do a lot of keypad-. audio previews and adding of markers. But if there’s a way to get this speech data from Premiere (it seems to store it in the Metadata) then that’d save me a lot of time.
I’ve tried copying and pasting the clip from Premiere to AE, but nothing appears in AE’s metadata window.
Any ideas, anyone?

You should just be able to drag the clip into AE from finder or explorer and it will come in as markers.

Thanks!! I just tried that – I exported the clip from Premiere, then imported it into AE, and hey presto! There are all the markers! But, is there a way to just “attach” the metadata to the original clip? Having to re-export the clip isn’t a very efficient process.
