  • Metadata can’t be entered in Bridge for video files.

When I try to apply metadata to a quicktime or avi movie file Bridge I get this message:

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. There was an error writing metadata to “filename.mov”

The file is not in use by any other program.

This suggests that it is possible to apply metadata to a video file.

Is it? If so, what am I doing wrong?
