I’m wondering if there is a way to get a file, or embedded xmp, that will give you some information about the footage used to create the final render. I really just need a list of files, but if I was metalogging information about them and have something like “cat; eye; fur; feline” listed for one of the clips and “dog; mouth; tongue; slobber” for another it would be killer if the final output was something that included all of those together. Even better if it was listed with timecodes so that you could have a software read that information and show timeline markers for the thing you searched for.

We’ve been asked to look into what we should use for keeping things organized for All of our marketing material, from PPT, images, pdf, Ai, psd, video footage and output files, etc. And since, as part of editing things already we are doing at least a Little metalogging, it makes sense to try and use that information.
