    Hello,

I just started using Vegas and I would like to make a special effect. I want to take two different videos and interlace them together. So basically I want 1 (or more) second(s) to play from say video A then switch to video B for a second and then back to Video A, and so on until the videos run out. Hopefully this will give the overall video a simple shutter effect.

If there a simple way to do this?

Yes. Place one video over the other so you have two video tracks. Then right click on the top track header, left side and add velocity envelope. You’ll see a blue line over the video I’m the time line which means transparency level, line at the top, not transparent. Line at bottom, fully transparent. Double click on the line to add points and drag the line down for the times you want the bottom track to show. Hop this helps. Danny Hays
