merged clips sync slippage
I have a difficult and time sensitive problem with my audio sync. I am using apple pro res 2k files shot on red camera. These files were manually synced to production audio using the merge clips feature (yes i realize they should have been made into single files but its to late for that now). I had to transport the project and i made a clone drive of the media. For some reason now that i am working on a different system and my clone drive some of the clips are out of sync. I have determined that this is not a play back issue because the wave forms are out of sync and when i open the merged clip in the veiwer it is out of sync. The sync slippage is not uniform (sometimes its only a frame or two, some shots are several frames and some are in sync) so i can’t just slide all my audio over.
I also tried making everything offline and then duplicating the file and reconnecting to refresh the connections. But this didn’t work. I don’t have time to manually resync every shot. Can anyone help me with this?
