I’m doing a credit roll with the Mercury Jones preset and it looks quite nice. However, I realized that I don’t know how to ease to a stop at the end of the credit. It just slams to a stop. Is there a way to make easy ease work with the Mercury Jones preset?

    Thanks!

i may be able to add an ease function to the end point (or the start point, i suppose) of the expression, but once the ease interpolation starts, you will not have whole pixel movement, so there may be some wavy edges or field judder as it eases.

i’ll have to see if i have time to dive back into that expression…

Well, thanks Kevin. That’s awfully generous of you. I figured that’s why easy ease wouldn’t work. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful tool for rolling credits.

it looks like it will require more work than i have time for right now… it looks like i may have to rethink how i calculated the vertical movement, maybe using some kind of loop… and it would be nice to have the expression decide to ease based off the key frame’s interpolation setting (ease in, ease out, easy ease) rather than a check box control…
