    Nope.

But if you’ll tell us more about your system we might be able to venture a guess.

Yea, please tell us more. What error are you getting? What are your PC specs? (number of cores and memory) How much free hard drive space? What file formats are you rendering to? etc.

It is an HP Pavillion laptop. 4GB Ram, Intel Pentium Processor, 2 cores, 3.0 Gigahertz. 230 GB free space left. The stabilizing is great but I can’t get it to export. It always stops. Any suggestions?

    Did you exporting as AVI?
    Some AVI codecs make trouble.
You should exporting as WMV – this works better for me.

Yeah, but doesn’t the wmv quality suck more than the avi?

Well… you still didn’t tell us what format you are trying to render to.

Because you are going to edit the file coming out of Mercalli, you should always use a codec that uses very light intraframe compression for intermediaries. Preferred intraframe codecs are: DV, M-JPEG, CineForm, or Lagarith. All of theses use an AVI container and all of these work with Mercalli and edit smoothly in Vegas Pro.

I tried to export to AVI. All of them but all stop export at 49%.

Maybe there is corruption in the video file at that point or many you are running out of memory. How long is the clip you’re trying to stabilize? Can you cut it into shorter clips?

The Mercalli WMV export creates a high-quality wmv-clip.
I am using this format and the quality is very well.
