    Hi,

I apologize for posting here but there doesn’t seem to be a more appropriate place to ask this question.

I’m using Mercalli V2 to stabilize a lot of hand help footage and it works OK inside of Adobe Premiere CS5 as an effect ( only interlaced files give good results). I was hoping that someone here has also tried to see if the stand alone version of Mercalli exports to AVI. I haven’t been able to export to a single AVI file since I purchased version 2 many months ago. I’ve asked for help from ProDad but their suggestion to update to the latest version was not helpful. Of course I would have tried that first.

If I re-encode these mts files to any other file format and use that with Mercalli it seems to work. This seems like a waste of time to me and I have a lot of clips so I don’t want to do this.

Mercalli V2 seems to begin exporting but it stops after 1 second with “export finished” and no error messages.

I’m working directly with Canon Vixia HFS100 files. Windows 7 64 bit, Ultimate.

Previewing stabilized clips in Mercalli stand-alone V2 looks great. Problem is with export.

I would appreciate knowing if anyone is using the stand alone version and exporting successfully to AVIs? Can you share your export settings and general experience with Mercalli stand alone V2.

    Alain
