  Memory Usage

  Hello,

  I’ve been trying to get help for a while on why when I create a project from scratch AE doesn’t seem to use enough memory. I’ve been doing the sand tutorial from creativecow and If I download the files that are available it renders in like 20 minutes, but if I create one from scratch it only uses like 60,000k of my memory and I have 2 gigs available. Everything under memory and cache preferences is set to 100% so I was wondering if anyone had experienced this or had any tips or advice for me.
