    Media100 P6000 DV input shows solarization analog is fine

    Have an XS system with an old P6000 board on a G4. Been working fine for years (yes, I know, I’m going to upgrade.)

    Fired up the system yesterday and upon trying to capture from DV, the image looked solarized. (areas of high exposure were not white but black, like a bad luminance key.)

    Tried 2 different decks, firewire cables changed, tapes changed etc. Analog input is fine.

    Any thoughts or do I shoot this old workhorse? HELP!

    Try reseating the DV daughter card.

    The board is fried according to Media 100 (at least as far as the DV component)
