    Hi all,

With an internal hard drive at capacity, I went into the media tool this afternoon in MC 5.5 to clear out everything but the master clips on all drives that popped up in the media tool and all projects included in the clean up. I thought it was safe to do so, but apparently not…as it has led to a problem bigger than a slow computer.

I closed MC after performing the clean up and began working in PremierePro as I do frequently. When I went back to open MC again, the software seems to start to load and runs through the initial start up processes. All of sudden, the message below pops up…

I can only assume it’s related to something I did in the clean up. I have tried shutting down and restarting the machine a couple of times, but no luck yet.

On a side note…i tried to also post htis on Avid’s forums, logged into my avid account, but was informed that I am not allowed to post on the forum anymore…Our Avid service contract is up, but I thought the forums were free? I am I wrong?

    Thanks for any thoughts

    Lindsay

Whoops! Got it sorted out. I deleted all my media directory files in AvidMediaFiles and got it back and running
